Even though I hate using absolutely anything I've learned in school some really crazy shit pops up during stuff. Math never helps me much because I always have a more elementary way of solving a mathmatic equation but science has drilled itself into my mind.

Where else can you prove absolute, unshakeable truths with pure logic?

I actually enjoy mathematics most of all when its applied, but math for its own sake is far from pointless. People don't sit down and say, "hmm what type of math can I work out to further progress science?". They think, they analyze, they construct proofs and theoreoms based on logic alone. Then someone else goes and looks at it and does something with it.

Yes they do. Calc was mostly came up with to have a way to mesure change with in physics problems. One of this major contributers, Newton, also came up with most the physics that is used in modern day life.

For every rich aristocrat that sat around doing just math you had one that did physics and other science experments. The truely great ones, did all three.

That is true, and a reason I am minoring in physics (I would double major but...labs...I fucking hate lab work). All hail Gauss, Newton, Archemidies and LaGrange, for they are the greatest men who ever lived.

Too many ;p You wouldn't be too far from a minor, though. Doubt it would be worth your time...CE is the way to go.
