I joined a UT2K4 (and previously UT2K3) clan called, well, |uT|. Theyre friends of the clan |pure| which seem to be top class. One of them is a roommate of |pure|TwoTime, a really awesome player, can go toe to toe with the famed Fatality.

Is there a way you can verify you headset works? I know you have to hold down the "F" key, most I havn't notice anything that shows that I what I said registers. I am using hetset that plugs into my soundcard and not a USB. It is a very nice Plantronics set that I bought back when I was playing Tribes 2 and DoAC and would hate to have to use the cheaper pack-in.

You can see a volume bar jump on the screen while you speak... but you don't hear your voice play. It was working for me last night... we all need this.

I can't stress how impressed I am with this game over UT2K3... it's like ninjas running around on fire on my PC RIGHT NOW!!

I think you have to push "V" not "F".

And yeah, I have Socom, but no headset I'm definitely preordering this shit though, so it won't be long. As insanely awesome as the text voice recognition is, anyone without a headset should really preorder. Then when this launches we'll be some incredibly e-leet mother fuckers, and will pwn with extreme prejudice.
