Eww, I'll have to go inside an EB. I swore the day I quit I wouldn't ever walk into that store again. I guess I could hop into one of the other 8 stores around here.

Yes, one of the three offers involve trading in 2K3. Another is an EB store credit mail in coupon, and the last is a manufacturer instant rebate. If you do all 3, you end up getting it for free.

I've found many great games in excellent condition at EBs and Gamestops around the city for dirt cheap prices. I don't see why you would avoid places where you can buy games... I don't really have a "store preference" or "loyalty" of any kind. I just buy games.

I tend to not support places that charge $2-$5 less than retail for used games or ebay prices (or worse) for 8-16 bit stuff. There are more than a dozen independent game shops around here so it's easy to not shop at the EB's & GS's. I can get new games for $45 or less (not counting the BB trick) and trade stuff in toward them. Newer used games don't top $35 and I can get $25 or more in trade for 'em. I'd start shopping at EB again if they gave a decent trade to sale ratio, I already know they make more on a new game than almost anyone and making $20 per used game (the more expensive ones) is unacceptable. But what's ludicrous is that people pay that much for 'em.

Head over to www.omfgctf.com and register there. I think that would be the best place for discussion. I made a thread there to discuss options on how to make the Lag and performance issues a thing of the past (yes I realise that the Demo is pretty hacked as a server and will be better on release).
