Unreal Tournament 2004

In-game chat is annoying to me so I turn it off. I have the SE version and its nice not to have to swap 6 disks to install as well.
I really love this game!!! I'm glad they did a couple remakes of maps I used to like such as deck 17 and morpheus. Everything is just pure. I just came off my first binge too. I am bleary-eyed and need sleep!!!
Now for epic to release a bonus pack including Unreal2 XMP . That would be heavenly!

I got the SE, but have no DVD drive... balls.

I ordered a Lite On from NewEgg, should be here one of these days.

I use in-game chat, but text-to-voice still rules.

In game voice is great. It works really well for organizing your team in Oslaught, Assault and CTF. It's too hard to play and type out strategies at the same time.

Well guys I got my copy today. I couldnt find the SE because Best Buy broke the release date or some shit and sold out yesterday. So I have the regular and Im gonna buy an adapter to use the Live headset for the PC. Then you can all kick my ass.

Ah well, the game seems well worth full price. Hope it comes today.

We didn't use fancy microphone back in my day... bitch.

We had to type out freaking PARAGRAPHS under enemy fire, and we liked it!

Headsets are cheap, go ahead and buy one with the regular version. It really does help out when coordinating your teammates. The SE may have some more units shipped to stores, but there are already reports of it being discontinued, so don't count on it. Get a headset, it will be alot easier to play with it than without.

I'm hearing from a lot of people that can't find a SE to save their lives. Sucks.

Glad I preordered, which is kind of out of character for me. Yay.

Yeah, I'm glad I pre-ordered as well... I would hate to have had to deal with six CD's... it's much better having the game on 1 DVD.

well they did say the SE was going to be for pre-orders only so it really shouldnt be a surprise to anyone that its sold out and discontinued allready

Need maplist suggestions for the server. Doesn't matter what gamemode, although the dominant mode on the server will be CTF. All the Onslaught maps are in, too. Looking for about 30 maps.

Hmmm... let me see here:
There are two assault maps I think are really good:
AS-Fallencity
AS-Robotfactory

Double Domination and Bombing Run suck... so don't put any of those on. A few Deathmatch levels would be cool... I don't know which ones are best though. I haven't tried Invasion or Mutant yet... but I'll bet they'd be fun to mix it up as well.
