Where to buy Japanese Win games online???? shmups, Ys, etc....

Falcom's website I believe sells it direct but will they work on an american PC I hear conflicting reports?

in regards to getting this released stateside, here is a statement from 1999...

Today, The Ancient Ys Library posted a responce from Falcom regarding the Ys Petition we have here on RPG Fan. Here is the Email:
"Thank you for your E-mail.
We are much surprised at many petitons for conversion of Ys series into English. We are honored that many people love Ys, and it will be a great encouragement to us.
Well, in regard to the conversion. We are afraid that Falcom is very small company, so, I hope you will forgive me for that we can't promise the conversion of ys into English soon. It's a pity for us that we answer like this.
Of course, it isn't that there isn't any possibilities of the conversion. This is the situation that we also can't judge it depending on how the future situation develops.
Anyhow, we will aiming for better products. Please cheer Falcom in future."

I dont mind playing this game in Japanese, i beat ys3 on my Turbo and it was in Japanese. Playing Japanese games on american PCs, will create the occasional error, but in general it should work.

It pains me how many computer games get left in Asia. The other day I was looking through a Chinese PC games mag and it had so many beautiful console-ish RPG's in it that I had never seen before. I couldn't read the text but I wish those games would come out here.
