Yeah, though I question the 3D capabilities of the Atomiswave in today's market

    Indeed....

  3. It better not have a Greatest Hits border...

  4. Ugh, yes. They should have at least had the first run of Evo not have the GH shit on it.

  5. I posted some Virtua Fighter news last week, it was about this being anounced, and that VF5 is in the works and on totally new hardware

  6. I don't know if anyone remembers this, but right around the time when VF3 was announced (I think) AM2 said that they were only going to go up to VF5, with each game being on upgraded hardware (VF1=Model1, VF2=Model 2, etc to VF5=Model 5).

I saw some people who seemed a little miffed that VF5 wouldn't be conversion friendly to current consoles since it was on newer hardware, but find that thought funny considering this old decree. Plus, every new VF game has always been state of the art not only in gameplay, but hardware-wise. Besides, by the time VF5 comes out, the next gen consoles will be on their way anyway, at least by the looks of it.

It'd really make my day if VF4: Final Tuned made it out on Xbox, then I wouldn't have to shell out the extra money I don't currently have for a PS2. If not, C'est la vie.

  7. This one has to have the most tongue-twistingest title ever. I'd bet on a US version being called just "VF4 Final". BTW, not adding any new characters is a downer.

It's still worth a Jackson if Sega brings it to the states on PS2. An Xbox port would be even better and probably arcade perfect. We do need VC3- If Sega brings that out, my Silent Scope Light Rifle is going to get even more use (that pump reloader could stand in for the E.S.Mode pedal quite well).

    That does stink. Badly.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
