Wait, "shitty" official controller? You mean the one that goes for around $80 on ebay? I was planning on getting one of those in time for 7th style... is there something else (ther than the $300 deulxe) that I should get instead?

Yeah, that's exactly what I mean. If you don't have $300 to spend, and don't have access to the real thing, then I guess it's your only option. It's not that bad, Konami could've done a lot worse *looks at official Pop'n Music controller*.

Well... I do have access to an arcade machine. My local (45 min drive) arcade has an IIDX 8th Style. I just wanted to play it at home.
