Reign = Boy George
Alright, here's how it goes. You take a band or specific album and find it's anime equivalent. EX: Excel Saga= Weird Al, or Cowboy Bebop= Bob Dylan.
Criteria can include, but is not lmited to longevity, era, critical acclaim, commercial sucess, and most importantly, the aesthetic soul of each artist.
Now you try.

I thought it was good. They're both considered classics. They're both controvercial in how much influence they actually had on their medium with zealots on each side. And they both start off normal and then get totally fucked up on drugs.Originally Posted by REG
True, but lets really look at the Beatles, just saying that they "got fucked up on drugs" is way too simple. They musically evolved. EVA just got convoluted.Originally Posted by stormy

Eva = 'Sadness Will Prevail' by Today is the Day.
FLCL = The Blood Brothers - Burn, Piano Island, Burn.
Boo, Hiss.
FLCL and EVA (stormy's) I like.
Akira- Dizzee Rascal, Boy in Da Corner. I keep thinking of scenes from Akira when I listen to this. Brand New Day= monster teddy bears, Just Do It= the flashbacks at the end.
Ghost in the Shell- "Ghosts" by Japan. For the slow and careful pace of the song (plus the futuristic and oriental themes).
