Thread: Dead Phoenix to become Kid Icarus?

  1. 7f, that post would have been perfect with your old "Poison" sig.
Quick zephyrs blow, vexing daft Jim.

  2. I don't see what the problem is...

It looks pretty nice to me. They have to make it fit to Kid's universe though. Let's face it, no matter what, people are going to say: "I don't know if I like the way this is headed."

They did with Metroid Prime at first.

If Capcom is developing it, at least Nintendo won't have a chance to fuck up their own franchise again...

What exactly is Nintendo doing if this is true? Star Fox Adventures, Star Fox Armada, F-Zero GX, Wario World, and now Kid Icarus have all been farmed out? At least they won't go cell shaded or get water cannon backpacks this way I guess...

Star Fox Adventures wasn't farmed out. It was an original Rare game from day 1, they just slapped a liscense on it.

Anyway, this rumor has been going around for a very long time, and I think has been refuted a few times already. I still think it's ridiculous.

Obviously it'd be reworked but still... let Nintendo do an original one if anything.
    Agreed.

I understand. The same would apply to this rumor. The point is that Nintendo franchises are being used on third party games with alarming regularity.
