Anyone that only plays one region of games by choice is an idiot. There are tons of great "Western"(France, US, Canada, UK come to mind) games. And if you really play through a Japanese RPG without understanding most/any of it, there are also (many) Chinese(Taiwan, China, Hong Kong) and Korean games out there you will probably enjoy (PC Mostly).
