So is Ninja Gaiden The Best Ninja Game Of All Time?

Maybe it's way too soon for this - the game just came out last week, and I myself am only on like chapter 5.

But let's examine the facts:

1. Ninjas are mammals.

2. Ninjas fight ALL the time.

3. The purpose of the Ninja is to flip out and kill people.

Weapons and Gear: Ninja Sword, Ninja Stars, Ninja Outfit.

Xbox Ninja Gaiden is the living embodiment of flipping out and killing people. I mean, you pretty much do nothing but, and in innumerable totally rad ways. Like, when you run along a wall, flip around, knock a guy up in the air with your sword, riddle his body with ninja stars, then kick his head off.

Folks, that's why videogames were invented.

The only other titles I think even deserve mentioning alongside this game are PS2 Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden II and maybe one of the Tenchus. One of those games is on this disc, and Xbox Gaiden has pretty much everything PS2 Shinobi does. (I've never played Kunoichi).

So honestly, has there ever been a better Ninja game than Xbox Ninja Gaiden? FAIR WARNING: anyone calling into the question the quality of this game will be treated with the mockery and derision you deserve.

Strider, about that collage you have in your sig. There is a pic on the far left side, 2nd one down, that shows Ryu putting a silver Xbox into a wall (or touching a silver Xbox that's in a wall). That's a really old screenshot though, and I was wondering: Did anyone find an Xbox in a wall? The only magic Xbox I could find was in Chapter 4, right next to where you get the Windmill Shuriken.

I don't know about best ninja game, it's really good though. The whole point about being a ninja is to be stealthy and killing people so I'd say Tenchu wins by default since it is the only one that does this. I haven't finished it either, on chapter 10 now, fun game with some frustrating moments I'll leave it at that.

When I first saw that I figured it was going to be the save system symbol, now it's a statue so who knows what that is.
