I have never heard a valid point from the left on anything. They always take the touchy, feely, warm and fuzzy stance, which is always non-practical, expensive, and self-defeating in the end.

Countries like Norway, Belgium, Canada and Sweden must be doing something right. They boast the highest standards of living in the entire world, and are far from conservative.

I've seen more then one list like that with highly different results, but shit, maybe the ones I saw were wrong so my bad if that is the case.

Anyway, suicide rates are factored into that standards of living index. All the capitalist countries are up the top, but the more socialist ones are generally higher then the conservative countries; due to generally better health care / welfare for all.
