Anyone remember this? Oddly enough, most of the responses were from people who thought the game would be delayed, but the overwhelming majority of voters thought Halo 2 would be out by the end of 2003. Not to toot my own horn, but all of my predictions from back then were absolutely correct.

I don't remember Halo 2 EVER being announced for 2003. I always thought of it as 4th quarter 2004, which is why I always got weirded out when I saw OMFG HALO 2 DELAYED UNTIL 2004 on Shacknews or something.

The place that set a date for Halo 2 was EB... Bungie did not set a date... they said we'll release it when it's finished. If it weren't for dipshit companies like EB pulling dates out of their ass there wouldn't be this arguement.
