My poor, dead, 21-inch monitor

Ive never notice a ghost image in my LCD screen. I watch movies on it occasionally, and have played FPSers heavily from time to time. Never noticed a problem.

What kind do you have?

James - it could be the flyback transformer. Like someone suggested - take it to a TV repair shop. They might be able to fix it. Unless it's under warranty, that's really your only option.
