shame, only 3 games support 1080i, and 9 games(3 of the 1080i) support 720p

i thinking of picking up freedom fighters to check out 720p....is the game any good?

btw, i hear that if you play Soul Calibur 2 xbox on 720p, you're forced to play it in 4:3(As opposed to widescreen 16:9) true?

Yes it does force you into 4:3 mode. Which sucks if your TV upscans 720p to 1080i, becasue you basicly have to play the game in black box on your tv. I just turn off 720p when I want to play the game.

Best thing about it is it's fully updatable by the public. If you see a game on there that has no info, add it yourself. I just did Harvest Moon GC a few days ago.

yah seen that site, very cool, but i only wish it was a little more organized.

Yeah that DC list in the first post is waaayyy to small, there are tons of DC games that run in VGA mode and only a few that don't.

Odd. SC II won't run in Progressive mode on my TV, and when I run Enter the Matrix, there is a white line on the left side of my screen.

Hmmm...is this on PS2 or Xbox? Does your HDTV support 720p, cause mine doesn't and a lot of early models don't. So I disabled that and it should just boot up automatically.

If it's PS2, I have a lot of problems getting progressive games to boot on my TV, GGX2 works once in a while if it feels like it...

Xbox and GC work flawlessly in 480p mode...

The problem with my TV is that unless it is in progressive mode, the screen is black, so if I need to choose a menu where I turn it on, I can't see that menu until the game is actually in progressive mode...
