I just looked at the story screens in the gamescience link above. If the story uses 3D models they look really impressive, they look just as good as CG.

I find most of the new features to be most displeasing. The only thing on there I have no problem with is it being twice as long, and the online bits but the game length wasent a problem, was it?

I have a lot of faith in the AceCombat series, 4 was is my favorite PS2 game, so I hope they can pull off everything and keep it as amazing as 4 was.
