Recommend a cough medication that actually works

When I'm sick, I take Theraflu pills for the daytime. They also make it as a tea to drink.
That stuff works well throughout the day.

I tried the Theraflu "tea" a little while ago. The liquid Jell-O taste didn't sit too well with me, but I knocked it back while it was still pretty hot and it's been working like a charm. The sore throat and congestion has subsided by a lot. Now if I can stop posting here and start working on my paper, I'll have a productive morning.

I had a horrible cold with a cough a few weeks ago. The doctor perscribed me some cough medicine with CODINE in it. Worked like a charm!
