Over to the topic of Sci Fi really quick, my favorite show, and in fact, the only show I watched, was Exposure.

Back when we first got Dish, I watched TechTV all the time, but the novelty faded off. But when I did watch it, My favorite show was Call for Help. I learned (and then forgot) quite a bit about XP from that show.

Yes but Conan comes after Leno. I like to think of Leno as a warm up laugh hour for the full on laugh hour that is Conan. I don't even find Marshal that funny and his delivery on jokes seems rushed. I've only watched a couple and one of them had some nerdy intern covered in crap from head to toe by two babes. I immediately wondered how this was allowed to air on TV and not cut.

I hate changing channels.

People seem to be ignoring the fact that Tech TV's programming and future was in jeopardy anyway. By jeopardy I mean there wasn't one. It's a double edged sword but atleast you will get some of what you liked about Tech TV back.

He's leaving the screen savers but is continuing to host call for help, now moved to six pm.

Leo isn't totally leaving Screen Savers, he's just stepping down as the host. He will be on it every day, more or less. Call For Help is moving to right before Screen Savers, so you'll get your Leo then.

I don't think techtv is going to be phased out in favor of G4; I think it will be the other way around. Comcast bought techtv for the installed viewer base, since combining it with G4's makes the channel Neilsen-rated. This is good, since they will be able to prove how many people actually watch the channel and can evnetually charge more for commercials. More commercial money means better and more programming.

I do like the idea of things like Arena and the other interesting concepts on G4 being produced by a channel that actually has a budget.

Yes. And it also means more good original programming like The Screensavers and less crappy old programming like robot wars. No offense to those who like robot wars. Okay... maybe a little offense.
