Your game is fine. I used to hate the stutter stepping on slopes, but you'll get used to it.
Enjoy the game, man. It's the best there is.
I just got a copy of VP from an ebay auction, and I just wanted to make sure a couple things aren't going wrong...
- When the controlled character, be it Valkyrie or another, ascends or descends a slope, the character doesn't move as smoothly as he does when walking or running along flat ground or when jumping. Is this normal?
- In that first dungeon, when they use a CG scene over the background to show a door opening, it looked like it had a bit more green-ish in it than the background and stood out more than it probably should have. Again, is this normal?
Otherwise, everything else is fine. I didn't want to leave this guy feedback until I knew what was going on with this.
Those who help me are awarded with baked goods.
FMV integration during the game tends to be a bit off-looking at times, yes. And yes, you'll get used to the slopes as CV said. This is one of the best games ever.
Awesome. Thanks, Captain Veggie.
And, as promised...

Is this game really that good? I have passed it up a couple of times at my local EB-it's only 20 dollars. The fighting system looks pretty cool. Is it all 2-D fighting?
Um... it's not 2-D fighting at all, it's an RPGOriginally Posted by animegirl20

I meant the fighting system. An example would be Tales of Destiny 2, it has 2-D sprites when you are in enemy encounters. Sorry for the confusion.Originally Posted by Roufuss
