Next Rez Game to be on PSP or NDS

Andrew, what the hell? I said it'd probably be a Rez-like game. In other words, a spiritual successor to Rez. It's sooooo good to see you fall back on nitpicking again...

What the heck are you speaking about? I was agreeing that it won't be Rez in its typical fashion because of the licencing issue on the name. I don't know how you're offended by this but I apologize.

Yes. But TNL is a great melting pot of opinions. Yours is as welcomed as some other joe. I happen to agree more with the Captain because this could turn out to be a blessing to the series. A revival on handheld could write a future in the consoles for the series as well.

Seriously though. Im not trying to nitpick or be negative or anything. Im just expressing my concerns. I think they are viable enough. I would say sound is the most important feature in Rez, and sound quality of handhelds hasnt been esspecially good thus far. I cant say Ive been eyeballing PSP and DS news very much lately, so I have no idea what was mentioned(if anything) of thier sound capabilities.

But all handheld gaming systems up to this point have been cartrige based systems. The PSP is not, and as far as I know, neither is the DS. They're disc based systems, meaning infinitely increased sound quality. You don't have to know the particulars to know the sound'll be 100 billion times better than what we have now.

Have you watched the Death Jr. video yet? Listen to it. The sound's got nowhere to go but up.

Try and see it from their point of view, though. They've been dying and asking who they need to do away with in order to get a new Rez title and it turns out they may have to buy a new system they may not even like in order to play it.

But be thankful it's not on the n-gage I guess.

As good as PSP's sound is, it will never beat TV speaker 3D input dolby 5.1.

The Death Jr. video made me quite optomistic about what can be done visually and aurally with the PSP hardware, and if it's a sign of things to come, we'll all be in for some great gaming. Time will tell if we'll be in for great, diverse gaming though.

It all depends on who's coming to help the system out. They need more then one game to make it a success.
