To keep a box of FF VII guides, retail $9.99, and then to wait about 7 years and sell them back at $75 a pop...I guess nobody thought of that ! (that's why it worked so well)
750% profit margin (assuming they bought the guides at 9.99) over 7 years. This is a rough estimate since they included Shipping in the $75, but they probably got the guides for less than 9.99. I realize the two don't cancel out, but thats's pretty impressive nonetheless.

I have one too. I had no idea they were worth anything... people are strange. It's in crummy condition though, since, you know, it's just a strategy guide and I saw no reason to take care of it. The poster is on my wall.

I eBayed my old, beat up, missing poster and pages ripped out copy of the Versus FF7 guide a year ago or so for $50. $75 isn't that bad for a new minty one. Of course, I think that's WAY too much for a guide but eh, who am I to judged what people like to waste their money on? Heaven knows I waste a lot of my money.
