First RPGs, and now Mickey and crew step into the foray of sports

While Sega and ESPN have tied the knot for future sports developments, Konami (former developer for ESPN) has announced an agreement to develop a product lineup with Disney Interactive.


Tentatively titled as <b>Disney All-Star Sports</b>, the franchise will feature many of the popular Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy among others, in a series of team/extreme sports games respectively. The six sport agreement includes; football, basketball, soccer, snowboarding, skateboarding and motocross will be developed for the Gamecube and Game Boy Advance this fall.

Combining the high-energy fun of each sport with the storytelling, humor and imagination of Disney, Disney All-Star Sports puts an extreme twist on sports console games, helping players get into the action with their favorite animated athletes. Disney All-Star Sports will deliver arcade-style action, multiplayer gaming, stunning graphics and a hip new attitude for some of the best-loved Disney personalities.
