I guess this is what you get for electing a C average student as a president. On a bit of a side note, this is pretty much the only domestic policy that he has enacted or even talked about in the last while. All he ever talks about is Iraq, Iraq, Iraq. Quite pathetic actually. It resembles a militarized state that relies on military to keep the government in power, much like the Baath regime right before the Gulf war. Ever notice that Bush cannot make a single speech now without talking about war, military, invasion, "terrists", "nucular" weapons, etc. What about domestic policy? What about unemployment? Does nobody care? It's a veil to hide all the crap that's going on in the States, and the fact that he's truely done NOTHING for the country. What about Afghanistan, even? He's left that country in the shitter, forcing the UN forces (lead by Canada, nonetheless) to pick up the pieces. If this man gets re-elected, what a sad day this will be for the American people, and in my eyes, they shall lose all the credibility and respect that I had left for them.

I haven't read the bill. It appears to be an obvious attempt to ban abortion, so screw it. Losing an unborn baby can be one of the most painful and dejecting experiences in a woman's life, and many women never recover from such an emotional ordeal. That said, making abortions illegal won't make them feel any better. We seemingly can't have it both ways, so if it has to be one or the other, abortion wins.
PS: It seems like this bill was created in a way to make people feel as if they had to vote for it or it would be bad PR. Like voting against this bill is SUPPORTING crimes against pregnant women.
