The upcoming lockout comes a few months earlier than expected and there are no playoffs.

The next few weeks are the best weeks for television. You know why? Because theres at least 1 playoff game on ESPN/2 every night, and possibly more on regional coverage stations.

I'm still pissed off about the Kings missing the playoffs... second year in a row. Their last 10 games were real let downs.... yargh.

I dont like hockey that much either (played roller hockey though). every now and then I can get into a game if it's close or there is some cool tension. But I dont know alot about the teams. I'm really just in this for the beer.
