Thread: Proof that I live in Redneck land

  1. I've seen it all...
    matthewgood fan
    lupin III fan

  2. I wonder if this will come to the Barter?
    Time for a change

  3. I'd be great to see a someone in a tutu get hip checked through a breakaway railing. And the amazing climax: the reenactment of Earnharts fender bender with the fatal wall.

  4. I love girls with great flexability.
"Your soul better belong to Jesus, mmm-mmmmm..... cause your ass belongs to me!"

  5. that link made my day.
my cousin now lives in roanoke, by the way. she just moved.

  6. Another monitor, relays live footage of the "pit" as dancers lift, rotate and spin one another during the "pit stop". The third screen continuously plays pre-made commercials by sponsoring companies. As the dancers gracefully careen around the track, collide and are rebuilt, logos of sponsoring companies are displayed prominently all over their bodies.
Um, yeah....I think we could have stopped the idea right there, but nooooooooo.
“The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, you know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.” -George Carlin

  7. Mad

I live 15 minutes west of Talladega Superspeedway, which is one of the major NASCAR tracks (Home of the E.A.Sports 500, oddly enough). The week before a NASCAR event is a living hell in Birmingham, as every hillbilly from what seems like the entire universe descends here and drops the average IQ of the city to somewhere in the 20's. Everywhere you look is a swarm of Confederate flags, mobile homes/trailers, and cars with racing decals. It's like Jeff Foxworthy is shooting a documentry or something. I've never liked NASCAR or its fans, and some day, I hope Godzilla takes a break from leveling Japan and takes a shot at Talladega.

**Disclaimer: Yes, I know not ALL NASCAR fans fit the description, but it didn't get this reputation for nothing.
