Let me quess, they are going to have another GBA bundle *digs through wallet* damn you Square-Enix!![]()
Thanks to jonnyram for the awesome find:
Updated info:
www.game-science.comThe latest issue of Jump reveals a GBA conversion of Square-Enix's Final Fantasy I & II, bundled together on the same cartridge, for release this July in Japan for 6090 yen. The games have had their level of difficulty tweaked and include new content exclusive to the GBA version. Amongst the changes are an MP system, whereby repeated casting of the same magic is possible with MP cost taken from later FF titles, and the ability to save anywhere.
Final Fantasy I extra dungeon: Soul of Chaos
In this extra dungeon, four chaos souls are sleeping. It's also possible to battle the bosses from different generations of Final Fantasy games.
Final Fantasy II extra story: Soul of Re-Birth
Four of the characters who died in the main story are back as the heroes. With a party of Minyu, Scott, Josef and Richard, experience new events and fight new, super strong monsters.

Kick-fuckin-ass.
Games like this and the Dragon Warrior series are gonna make my trip to Otakon blaze on by...
It was only a matter of time, I guess.
So is this a proper remake unlike origins? Seems to have a bit more story than the one on the PS and damn, that magic knight and dark knight looks awesome(or is that a dragoon?).
Those visuals look amazing, good stuff.

Dang, and Final Fantasy Origins is still sitting on my bloody Pile of Shame
Hope this makes it's way Stateside, Square would be foolish not to bring it over. Pretty much any game with the name Final Fantasy attatched to it sells like hotcakes, even if it's a second re-release for another system![]()
omg TNL epics!
