Once carbon monoxide takes over enough of your lungs, depriving you of oxygen, you pass out. Then you die from continuing to breathe. You'd never know what hit you.
To understand man, walk it shoe on other foots.

Yes, definitely my most pleasant suicide attempt yet.

    Oh yeah...
Well that's like, your opinion, man.

He is the future of the country.

  8. CO is also produced from many furnaces. It is possible that it can leak out and fill the ho use. This is why you should have a CO detector.

CO poisoning is pretty interesting. You pass out from lack of oxygen. It is a peacefull experience because all the CO2 is being released, which is the painful experience that you get when you hold your breath (its from a pH change in the blood). But what actually kills you is that CO binds to the exact same spots on hemoglobin that O2 wants to bind to. CO2 doesnt bind to it, but CO binds freely so O2 cannot travel to your brain, which dies very quickly w/o proper amount of oxygen.

*Shrugs* I live in Australia where carbon monoxide poisoning isn't heard of that often. And when it is, it is from assisted suicides(Euthanasia) and child deaths from their exposure to old car exhausts(though the AMA stepped in and basically told people not to use the old petrols).

We don't even use any gas in our house for the most part. Hot water is electric. Ovens are electric. The only thing that may use gas is the central air.

In any America has nothing to worry from me.
