It had disappointing sales, not bad sales. It still moved upwards of 700,000 copies, I believe.Originally Posted by Glock17

...those are some titles that come to mind. I'm also very surprised to hear a sequel to PoP is coming out...sales must have increased considerably for that to happen![]()
I guess you've learned the benifit to waiting.
I agree, they should give people like you something. Perhaps a kick in the balls would do nicely and make you slightly less retarded.
I think like 4 people in the entire world have played this game. Why doesn't anybody know about it? It's an amazing game.Originally Posted by neoalphazero
I just want to add that I recently bought Kya: Dark Lineage and I think it's quite underrated. It's worth picking up since it's cheap now. It has some of the nicest environments I have seen in a game and it's a good platform/adventure.
Thing about CIMA is that I read there's some *horrible* pathfinding problem that rears its head constantly due to having to lead lots of townsfolk through narrow corridors all the time. Thankfully this was enough to knock it off my list. Please don't make me put it back on. I'm begging. Too... many... games.
And BG&E got the sales it deserved. People harp on about this game way too much. I'll say it was "pretty good" but nothing more. Oooh, the storyline is so deep and thought provoking... The government is lying to the people. Wow, that's really shaking things up. And what's with the struggling framerate? And on Xbox no less. The goddamn thing is letterboxed and doesn't look that great to begin with. It's worth a $20 though which is what I paid.

The problems I had with BG&E:
1. No replay value. The game length was fine, but I wanted something to change up to give me an incentive to play it through again, like a higher difficulty level or something that changed the gameplay.
2. The characters were cool, but the story sucked. Really sucked, especially how clearly defined good and evil were in the game. I've seen Disney movies with more ambiguity. And the bit that was thrown in about the main character's true origins was better when it was called Silver Surfer.
3. Absolute braindead AI made some situations laughable. Like the part where you sneak through mist while the guards rotate on small platforms above, never looking down, for no reason at all. The enemies in Tenchu are rock stupid, but even they're better than this.
So it was a good game for $20, but I'm glad I didn't pay much more for it. I tried replaying it recently, but I found myself just too bored to go through with it already knowing and being disappointed with the story.
