I would suggest, firstly, that you cease and desist from giving threads the most nebulous titles possible.
It couldn't hurt.
I'm an absolute wuss about talking in front of people. Like... Incredibly bad, you see. For my project in Geometry last year, I had a killer project, but it was ALL on presentation. I knew I'd blow it (hate being the only freshman among juniors and sophmores, blah) so I asked the teacher and had to do it to her alone after school. Got a 100%.
On the converse, I totally fucked up a reading of Don Quixote in ASLA this year. Would have had a perfect project, but I lost like 10% for stammering. I'm such a nervous wimp.
I've been getting better, mostly because my classes require it now so much. Just practice reading it as much as you can, with people you aren't too familiar with. Or if that's not available, just try to find a little confidence. If you know the material and know it's good, go on before the reading thinking that. It helps to not expect yourself to fuck up.
Yes, your time is the most rare and precious commodity in the world and I should go to the utmost lengths to avoid wasting a second of it, even though you have enough of it to post worthless, smartass remarks in threads that practically anyone could contribute to.Originally Posted by Bacon McShig
