FLAC to MP3

Anyone have any experience converting FLAC to MP3?

iTunes doesn't play FLAC... and I will sacrifice audio quality for convenience.

What program should I use?

Download the free FLAC frontend (the program is simply called "Flac Frontend" I think) and use that to convert FLAC to wav. From there it's easy. I'd keep a copy of the original FLAC around if I were you since storage is cheap and once you make the MP3 all of that sound is gone forever.

That's what I gave him earlier, but the DMC app when installed with the plugin will let you convert directly from flac -> mp3 without any intermediate step.
