I think the attitude of a lot of black women is summed up with this: Destiny's Child's first single was "Pay my Bills," in which they spent the song demanding that their boyfriend (not spouse) pay
their bills. Their follow-up single was "Independent Woman". That seems, in my experience, to fit the description of a lot of black women I know... not all, but a lot. The worst of them are worse than any other race or gender in terms of two-faced extortion and underhanded territorial disputes, which no doubt is a huge, HUGE turn-off. I work retail, and guess who always tries to talk down prices (No joke, a lot seem to think that products' prices are based on age, and anything that is over a year old should be dirt cheap by now, and dozens have given me the most horrible cock-eyed look when they see the price tag and inevitably add "is this the price?!"), and guess who makes a scene and wants to talk to the manager if they don't get their way moreso than any other type of customer. Being in a relationship with someone like that is the most unappealing thought in the world.
