I think it's because alot of times we'll give rainchecks for shit that never comes back in. Then a month later when somebody comes in looking for it and we tell them that we don't carry it anymore they'll go ballistic, like the rain check somehow ensures that the product will be stocked at Target for the rest of their natural existence. Substitutions keep the customer happy and are alot less of a pain in the ass. It's not like Target really gives a fuck which game you get 20% off of.Originally Posted by Master
