From what I understand Taito isn't doing the port inhouse (indeed they don't even have XBox SDKs iirc) but rather it's being farmed out to Altron (who also handled the GC/GBA ports).

Yeah, they really need to chill out with the "original" character designs. The characters on SBaM2 on PS2 are barely tolerable, and these look just as bad. Not that it really matters, but when you're adding aesthetics, it's better they're not utterly obnoxious and searching for a way to turn them off.
Xbox.com says the street date is Oct. 5. Gamestop has it set for the 19th. 20 dollars. What gives?
