I think these character designs are definitely profane.

This just doesn't seem to fit the series- it's looking like a lame knockoff. Puzzle Bobble 2's character designs are probably the best ones.

As for Super Puzzle Bobble (PS2)- I found Catch the Taito mascot to be a cool character, especially the "Jet de Go!" and "Densya de GO!" animations. The other ones in this game weren't bad.

To stray maybe a little from the topic for a moment, I hope that Empire Taito compilation will have the arcade G-Net Super Puzzle Bobble in it- this isn't the same as the PS2 title. It has some of the concepts from the PS2 title but a wholly different set of levels- and an exclusive 2 player cooperative mode with both players working together to clear the stages.

I'm not too happy that Bub and Bob aren't in it but it still looks like it'll be lots of fun.

The game hasn't come out yet.

It was suppose to be out on the 5th, but then got pushed back intill the 15th and now the 27th. Hopefully it doesn't slip again.

Argh!! It was pushed back to the 2nd, according to Gamestop.com! Oh well. Just one more week... I was just really looking forward to playing this tomorrow. I hope it's not delayed again.
