Not at all. I saw a doccumentary on the brothels of history. Don't assume I am puritanical. I just know that there is more to life than just sex. Embracing life means to embrace the earthy parts of life, yes, but it means ALL of life.

No, definitely not. If anything, pedophilia is probably less prevalent these days because it's better known and there's a big stigma against it. People have been abusing children for centuries, here and elsewhere - they just haven't talked about it much until recently.

Homosexuality too. Even though it was not acceptable to become "out of the closet" back in the day, plenty of gay people were still around. They couldn't just turn off their "gayness" because society told them to.
