yeah pretty much. he's going to direct all the cinemas.

i wonder if this is gonna become the next trend that everyone starts doing like when celshading first came out. i could so see more developers making good use of him.

Well, the artwork does sort of look like Kinu Nishimura's, so it's a possibility.

  3. News FuryFox hit the nail on the head.

I feel the same way about prequels too. No to mention that by default the graphics are usually always better, which hurts the series if you ever want to go back and play them in order. To only series I've seen get it right is Panzer Dragoon.
There's room for only one Snake and one BIG BOSS !!!!

Yeah it definitely is, she's awesome. This is definitely Ryuhei Kitamura's type of game and character so I expect some shit to be on the same level if not better than his MGS Twin Snakes cut scene work.

I've grown to like the new look alot btw.

Also about the director who 'shoots fireballs', could it be the guy who left Capcom to make his own studio? The name escapes me at the moment.

Anyway, I hope the producer Tsuyoshi Tanaka knows what he's fucking doing. I just wish Shinji and Hideki went back to the series because it's one the the best things they did so far outside RE and Viewtiful Joe.

  5. i dont give a shit who the director is , aslong as its good as the first game , cuz if they fuck it up again , then no more DMC games

  6. Well, We should find out more at E3 with DMC3 demo being playble there.

  7. I love DMC1 but the thing that got me was the crappy saving feature and that damn continue orb! if u got no orbs you must reply the the whole level from the begining! so i said fuck dat' and put it back in it's box. I tried several times to play it but it just didnt work out. I hope they fix that shit in DMC3

  8. Big deal. I never had a problem with not having enough orbs in any of the difficulties. Some people seem to be turned off from games by any reason.

You save at the end of levels, that's how most games work. It's not like the game is very difficult on Normal anyway.

You could just not use yellow orbs, fight enemies and whenever you earn orbs save your game. That way if you die when you go back to the beginning of a level you'll have all the orbs you earned up to when you saved. It's a way of milking the game in case you're not good at it.
I hope they fix that shit in DMC3
You hope they fix you dying? (That sentence kinda sounds like Babelfish.) Play DMC2, you shouldn't have any fear of losing much life in that game.

It's funny, after playing through the nearly god-awful Onimusha 2 I popped DMC back in to see how its camera compared after it being so long since I last touched it. DMC's camera actually wasn't half-bad after being subjected to so many hours of the horrendously pathetic camera angles of Oni 2. I think now I know how so many didn't mind it back then, because it practically seemed like a godsend in comparision to that oh-so-similar series. Well, aside from constantly trying to make Dante block so I could Issen, I really missed that guard function.

da truth, i saw the new dante design today at the book store. and ok, maybe i have been a little harsh on his fem-boy look before, but now he is wearing no shirt, and that leather strap does not help. I forsee that in dmc 4 he will drop all pretence of heterosexuality and run around in pink hotpants and star shaped nipple pasties..sheesh
