Thread: I hate Comcast

  1. I'm really going to miss Tech Live. That was absolutely my favorite show of that whole channel. I've also noticed a lot of people who got their big break on Tech TV are now on like MSNBC and such. Good for them.

And I like X-Play. Morrigan is really really hot, and Adam is alright. He just tries WAY too hard to be funny, when if you remember: he was a fucking baldwin when that other girl host was doing Extended Play with him. A lot of the dialogue is really hilarious, though.

  2. I watched a program about how E3 came about, on G4tech yesterday. The show was pretty good. I have hopes that this channel will become better, as time goes on.

  3. Their gaming bits are a hell of a lot better than X-play has ever been, and The Screen Savers are still there. All is well.

  4. If by all is well you mean retarded mtv rip offs and bland idiots attempting nerd comedy during 90% of the air time while Leo and the Call for Help staff are looking for a new network, then yes, all is not only well, but fan-fucking-tastic.

  5. Right now: I have not seen Conspiracies, Nerd Nation, Robot Wars or X-Play. I HAVE seen Screen Savers, and a gaming related show that didn't make me want to break the TV.

This is an initial reaction. I'm sure I just haven't been watching at the wrong times or something.

  6. so - uh, are Leo, Patrick, Morgan and all them now working for G4? or did they all just quit?

  7. Leo is gone, Patrick is still doing The Screensavers, and Morgan is still doing X-play.

  8. damn =\ gone is the team eh?

    I like X-Play.

I like Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb.

As far as I'm concerned, the least annoying gaming show on G4 came from TechTV.. which is a bit sad, really.

I do enjoy Pulse and Icons, though.. right before the merger was completed, TechTV had some previews of G4 shows. Icons did a retrospective of the Dreamcast. Though it was a bit heavy-handed when it repeatedly mentioned that Saturn was a failure, I enjoyed it quite a bit. They even had interview snippets with SOJ personnel.
