Thread: Ripping a PlayStation ISO with Nero

  1. Ripping a PlayStation ISO with Nero

I have Tobal 2. Import PS game, of course.

I DL'ed the English Patch for it last night and I need to create an ISO from the CD, insert the Patch into that, and then burn it.

I use Nero, does anyone know how to actually get it to rip the ISO from the CD?

  2. I think it might be better to make that ISO with Alcohol 120%. It's supposed to be better then Nero for such cases. I ripped one of my import PSX games with it and it works like a charm. The software is easy to use and pretty much self-explanatory. Hope this helps.

  3. I used that, but that seems to give me 2 MDF files, and I need one ISO file. Unless I'm getting confused.

  4. I did the patch a long time ago, but am almost certain I used Nero. Let me look into it.

MVS are you using Nero 6.0 or higher? Less than 6 can not creat ISO's.

  6. You could try CDRWin and extract tracks > single track > track 1.

    Should make an ISO

  7. has to do mostly with iso's for epsxe but same principle.

Using CDRWin 5.0, what are the steps to do that?

  10. I can't remember exactly, but I think you just go to Extract Disc/Tracks/whatever on the main menu, then choose the individual tracks button, and pick Track 1. Pick a destination filename, and it should make an ISO. I think you leave the RAW box unchecked, but I'm not positive.

Never heard of a version 5, though.
