as for wether or not the pictures are lewd etc or not... Some of them are beautiful. i wish they smiled more though. you have to remember that its their mother behind the camera. as long as they were ok... i dont see a problem. this some what reminds me of that whole thing with Robert Mapplethorpe, who was a photographer who took some very beautiful pictures.

No, I don't think it means I'm messed up if I can perceive that they are borderline kiddie porn. All the cops that determine if pictures of kids are lewd are not, in fact, pedophiles themselves. There is no magical force that makes you a pervert if you decide that something is perverted.

And the parents should have been asked for consent before the photos were shown to the school kids.

You mean to tell me neither you nor anyone you know have pictures of yourself as a kid in the bath or in a kiddie pool nude or anything? Please. Nudity does not mean pornography. Especially regarding children, because, to most people, children really aren't sexual.

If the pictures were graphic shots of genetalia, showed the kids touching themselves or holding each other, or anything like that, it'd be a different story. BUT the fact that they're nude in these pictures is supposed to convey innocence, not anything dirty. More like an unawareness of sexuality.
