CD+G Sega CD pack-in

On my Turbo Duo's box it says it supports CD+G. I've never used one myself, so at first I got these confused with photo-CDs, which apparently aren't the same (I think they're in jpeg format).

Remember that CD+G thing that came with the Model 1 Sega CD, with the Jimi Hendrix stuff? I wanted to take a look at it again but all I can find in my closet is the regular music CD. I thought that CD+G stuff was on the same disc as those tracks but it seems like it isn't. Was it on that disc or a separate CD? I can't remember.

It was on a seperate CD as far as I can remember. It was a Hendrix greatest hits CD. There was one other one , but I can't remember what it was.
