  2. I worked weekend overnights for ten months. 7-pm-4am shift on Friday and Saturday nights. It was basially just me running a TV station by myself for about 5 hours. It was nice in that I was just by myself and it was pretty mellow compared to what happenes durring the work day. But it sucked cause it was the weekend and I could never go out with friends on Friday or Saturday night. Other than that you get used to it. Best advice I can give is that you need to go to sleep right when you get home. It keeps the sleeping schedule from getting too F'ed up.

  3. I work the night shift.

I like the job, but the schedule as of late has been making my eyes bleed.

Oh, and I'm new...So, um, hi.
    Bitch, please

  4. I didn't really work the graveyard shift, but it was a dang long shift; I worked from 2pm-midnite, with the occasional all nighter every 2 weeks from 2pm-6am. It took some getting used to, but for the most part it's a lot quieter and mellow at night. Unfortunately, as it's been mentioned, you lose your ability to hang out with people, so get used to having electronics as your best buds. I gotta say the hardest part of working nights is that you can't really get to know new people as friends, since they're having fun while you slave away at someplace dark. The best part is that you can get lots of sfuff done during the day since everyone else is at work. the lines at the post office have never moved faster....

  5. I used to work 3rd shift when I worked for Target and I grew to hate it. Thank goodness I escaped.
