I didn't really work the graveyard shift, but it was a dang long shift; I worked from 2pm-midnite, with the occasional all nighter every 2 weeks from 2pm-6am. It took some getting used to, but for the most part it's a lot quieter and mellow at night. Unfortunately, as it's been mentioned, you lose your ability to hang out with people, so get used to having electronics as your best buds. I gotta say the hardest part of working nights is that you can't really get to know new people as friends, since they're having fun while you slave away at someplace dark. The best part is that you can get lots of sfuff done during the day since everyone else is at work. the lines at the post office have never moved faster....
