Thread: One of 16-bit's Greatest Games

  1. Yield One of 16-bit's Greatest Games

    There was a time…

…long ago, in the year of our Lord Nineteen and Ninety-Three, when grunge was still new and boy bands were NKOTB, when Dr. Dre’s The Chronic was released, eradicating years of DARE’s hard work: it was a grand time. And in this time, there was game…

...a game that re-defined what it meant to be a video game.
...a game that revolutionized graphics, with phenomenal animation, grippingly obscene control, and wicked game play. A game like no one had ever seen before, and may possibly never see again!

    …Until Now!

That Game was Data East’s Panic!

Then just yesterday… I received the call I’ve waited all my life for! My granddaughter’s neighbor’s, ex-boyfriend’s, dad was a janitor for Activision, and he overheard two IT guys talking at the break room with an attorney. They were talking about Activision buying the rights to the game, then hiring Rockstar to develop it, Tommy Talarico to score the music and finally selling it to Microsoft in what could be the X-Box’s grand finale swan song!

    Could it be true?

    …or maybe it’s all hear say…

But man what a great what if scenario…

"Question the world man... I know the meaning of everything right now... it's like I can touch god." - bbobb the ggreatt

  2. I can only play that game for like 15 minutes at a time before I want to start hurting something.

  3. This is not a good way to endear yoruself to TNL, Doc. Please don't post a thread until you have something to say.
