Given my immense hatred for cd checking of all sorts, I'd consider getting this just to have my current set of ps2 games installed at all times. Not sure if its worth the expense for that minor convenience though.

Depends on the game. For Xbox, I've seen them range from 1.5 gigs to over five gigs.

how big are the games you want to install? add them up and theres your answer. most ps2 games are under 4gig with only a few being dvd9 (MGS Substance, Xenosaga and Champions of Norrath come to mind). so at least 9 games. maybe more.
