    Halo GBA

Well, this was something that I've known for months about, but was literally sworn to secrecy by the people involved (just like many OTHER things I know but can't say). But since it's been mentioned in another publication, I can confirm that, yes, Halo is in the works for the GBA. That's all I can say, on risk of having my fingernails ripped off with a bottle opener.

I wonder who's developing it and what genre it will be.

  4. Heh. I knew it. Stupid Jake Logan (co-worker) telling me it wasn't going to happen when I insisted it was true according to what he "heard". Now I'll have the pleasure of laughing at him tomorrow at work.

What's more scary is the other "secret" projects that are in the works and will be unveiled in the immediate future.

Wow... how long has this been in the works?
Quick zephyrs blow, vexing daft Jim.

If EGM just recently got wind of it, possibly a few months? I hate all the vagueness of what's going on at the moment, but it's a safe bet we'll be hearing a lot more sometime before the year is over.

  7. I think it'd be outright hilarious if it used e-cards.

...I'd also buy it really quickly if it did. It would seem by Nintendo's recent actions that my E-Card Reader's been deemed obsolete.

Can anyone say Red Vs. Blue pocket?

  8. You know, I'd be one of the first to jump on the 'this is lame' bandwagon, but after playing Codename Gordon, I could see a really cool 2d sidescroller ala Abuse or summat.

Wonder what they have planned. There's a LOT of room in the universe for different games. The first thought is FPS, but if you dig a bit deeper, there's plenty of room for other types of games. Space engagements anyone? A turn based wargame? An RPG? Lots of stuff.

Bungie made Halo. Bungie made Abuse. I could see this. I like this idea. In fact, I want this. I want this very, very badly.

Though, with the GBA, the control scheme would have to be altered... direction lock with one of the shoulder buttons, maybe?

Better not get my hopes up, anyway. I'm very curious to hear more, though.
