I actually finally watched this recently being unemployed has its perks and its as good as everyone said it was. The ending was meh but otherwise thumbs up from me for those that still care.

There's a Veridian Collection boxset of this at Best Buy for 37 dollars now. There's no excuse to not see it at this point.

It's probably got my vote for best Gonzo series to date but that's perhaps because I haven't finished S7.

I know this is an old post, but I laughed reading this.

I saw this with the book at BB for $40. Debated but decided to go with Mushi-Shi instead (and from what I've seen of both, I made the correct decision in a laughably one-sided affair). I'll probably pick it up when I head back to grab the last few discs of Mushi-Shi just because I liked the designs and a couple of you claim it gets better. We'll see.
