May as well drink Pepsi, it tasted more like that than it did Coke, IIRC.
No Coke II in the eastern area. I work in the production area where they make the soda.

You should try the foreign Cokes that is in Orlando, Florida. I forgot what theme park..Magic Kingdom?. You can try samples from China, Ireland, Italy, etc. There are some pretty nasty ones. Worse than C2.

Seems to me some people are like C2. Anybody want my case of C2? hehehe.

  2. I'm drinking a bottle of C2 right now. It's not too bad if you are used to the diet stuff. It pales next to the real thing, though - no pun intended.

I drink diet cola at work and regular cola at home, and I don't see either being replaced by C2. If I want a drink with 125 calories and about 12 carbs, I'll drink a Glaceau Vitamin Water. That's (slowly) starting to replace Coke for me anyway.

Mexican Coke is more carbonated, I'm told. You can buy it all over the place here in Chicago. Maybe I'll try that next.

  3. I might've been mislead. The first pack of C2 that I bought tasted like a lighter version of coke. The last pack I bought tastes like complete ass. I can't see how it would vary this much from pack to pack.

Next time I'm at the grocery store, I'll buy a bottle and see what it tastes like.

  4. Is C2 available in 2-liter form on the East Coast yet? I've only seen cans and 16oz bottles.

I've only ever had it in the midwest... well, around Chicago. Does it still get distributed there?

Pepsi Twist was like this in the beginning, I noticed. Some barely had the lemon taste and some were too much. Maybe it takes time to stabilize the ingredients on the assembly lines or something?

I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case. Vanilla Coke had some balancing issues early on, and I hated the first Pepsi Blue I tried (right at product launch), and liked it the next time I tried it. Weird.

  8. I've seen no C2, but I agree with those who said bring back Crystal Pepsi.

Try Propel. I prefer the taste and it has much less of either.

Also, Diet Vanilla Pepsi is amazing.
