Gamer Girls: A Plus?

At the list of things I care about in girls, interest in games is probably at the bottom. It's cool if she likes the occasional round of Mario Kart though, which I know a cute girl who does.

I have a good female friend who isn't socially retarded or ugly, yet is a huge fan of Resident Evil, and enjoys a number of other games. (Including 2D fighters.)

I'm somewhat indifferent about a girl whose a gamer, but a girl who atleast appreciates and enjoys the occasional game is a big plus. There's nothing worse than sitting around on a lazy afternoon playing something like Suikoden or Front Mission 4, and have your girlfriend talking to you the whole time, expecting you to be hanging on every freaking word, then her becoming incredibly pissed when you tell her you didn't catch everything she said because you were knee-deep in 'customizing your wanzer'.

I dated my ex for six years, and I couldn't count the times that she complained about my gaming hobby or just put it down in general. She'd play a game every now and then, (Super Monkey Ball 2, Sims, or Dr Mario) but nine times out of ten she was having some sort of problem with it.

With that said, if I could find a girl that was cute and had a pretty decent interest in games, I'd ask her to marry me on the spot.
