Well, the heart is a muscle & having your heart get too big can lead to congestive heart failure. This kid is going to have serious issues with his heart. Without some kind of treatment, he may not have a long life.

I imagine his bones aren't sturdy and will snap like twigs when his muscles outgrow them.. or something to that extent, that's what I meant but something doesn't feel right. SOMETHING must be at a disadvantage and I'm afraid it'll probably kill the kid.

But man.. when he hits 20 if he does... he will have all the ladies after his piece. Hell when he's 14 he'llprobably have 25 year olds after him.
i've seen him on howard stern a couple times, not only is he muscular, he's flexible too, they said he can hold his leg up high for like 4 or more minutes. and he said he loves working out all the time.Originally Posted by Dolemite

With all that muscle needing so many calories, that kid probably has one hell of an appetite that would put anyone but Monsieur Mangetout to shame.

Two comments on this case:
1) If he experiences the injuries other people with pseudo-similar situations such as acromegaly (sp?), he is in for a period of great reward, followed by a period of immense pain and an early death. The human body can only handle so much muscle and strength, out hearts and joints can only handle so much. I hope the rest of his body will be able to handle it, it isn't his fault he is so strong.
2) Is mutant a term that has a bit of a negative connotation? I know it is "cool" because the Xmen are mutants, but would you like to be called a mutant? I'm not sure I have yet formed an opinion either way, but isn't it almost like being separated from the rest of man-kind in a way? For good or bad, this kid is gonna have to find a way to live with being different and being labeled a bunch. His whole life people will be pulling at him for a peice. Let's all hope he finds genuine friends along the way and can maintain some semblance of normalcy.
PS: Sorry this post went in the direction it did, I guess I'm in one of those over-analytical moods.
