It does indeed take in an RGB signal. It also accepts a video signal from some odd Sony connection, don't know if that's RGB though. As for the 3rd party screens, pretend like they don't exist because they all suck in comparison.

Does that thing take RGB inputs? I know it plugs right into the back of the PS One, so is it taking an RGB signal or what? Could I hook my MVS up to it with a little soldering and cable making? Finally, (and I think I already know the answer to this) how are the 3rd party alternatives. Some of them can be had for awful cheap.
