1. Mega Man 3 - Snake Man's level owns all
2. Hagane - Completely insane action
3. Revenge of Shinobi - Great level design, nice, ramping difficulty.
4. CastleVania - Just flat-out awesome.
5. CastleVania: SoTN - Favorite CV game, although not the best.
6. Earthworm Jim - Great graphics to this game, fun to play at anytime.
7. Viewtiful Joe - It's like a Best of Capcom game, mixed with tons of B-movie and Power Rangers stuff.
8. Astal - Amazing visuals, simple, but fun gameplay.
9. Rocket Knight Adventures - Great level design, effective visuals, still enjoyable.
10. Contra: Hard Corps - Blistering pace, heart-racing gameplay. Fun on the Nomad as well.

No air control or speed variation is garbage-y. I still quite liked the game, but I had much more fun playing Maximo (the first one anyway, the second is OK too).
